Parents

Freinet taught me that work is something valuable and creative. And that lifelong learning is part of my nature, as I have probably never given up my childlike curiosity about life.

A warm welcome
Dear parents, dear grandparents, dear educators,
It is a wonderful and challenging task to accompany children in their growth and education. As parents, you are naturally the absolute professionals for this. Other caregivers and learning companions can enrich your children and you as a family in what you do. People who, like you, see and value your child with heart and mind. We are certain of this: Every child is unique. And that is exactly what is very good.
In Freinet educational institutions, every child is welcomed just as he or she is. Some families among you may have been confronted with special challenges along the way. challenges faced: ADHD, dyslexia, left-handedness, behavioral problems, physical or mental disabilities, bullying, etc.
A diagnostic clarification can be good and important. You have thus created a basis. For Freinet educators, it is important to deal constructively with the results, because they show the Resources of the child. They help to strengthen the child’s individual skills.
“It takes a whole village to raise a child.”
African proverb
The individuality of the child is the basis for learning and living together. We want Lifetime with joy fill. True inclusion is inextricably linked to our pedagogical approach. We Freinet educators are committed to making your children’s “whole village” worth living in. We are guided by the principles of the French reform pedagogues Célestin and Élise Freinet. The Freinet couple already called for …
- the free development of the personality,
- a critical examination of the environment,
- personal responsibility and
- cooperation and mutual responsibility within the group.
These guiding principles determine our Freinet pedagogical practice. Our goal: happy, shining children’s eyes and relaxed parents. In a lively cooperation our children grow with an unbridled joy of learning.

Through Freinet’s pedagogy, I have developed much more trust in the children’s interest-led learning paths. I have realized that the child does not need the adult as an instructor, but as an advisor when necessary.

Benefit from the experience of a learning group.

Although I already knew a lot about learning before my Freinet training, it was incredibly enriching to consciously go through certain learning processes again myself and share my findings with others. In this way, I was able to learn more and accompany the children’s learning processes even better.

I really enjoyed the training and experienced it as a very valuable encounter and enrichment. My “Livre de vie” shows how much we did together. I have always been happy to recommend the training to others.
