Create your experience in the online studio

Would you like to work together with like-minded people in an online studio on something you would like to learn? In Freinet pedagogy, workshops are open to all conceivable pedagogical content.

What moves you? What do you want to grow in? In which areas would you like to deepen your knowledge? Everything is possible – from theoretical topics and discussion rounds to trying out Freetian methods. From concept development to free creative expression.

We offer two types of workshops on Freinet pedagogical topics:

  • Atelier offers:
    There is an expert who provides a learning offer. The provider of the workshop has already gained experience and knowledge in this area. Would you like to follow this offer and take part in the workshop? Contribute your individual experience and knowledge.
  • Participatory workshops:
    There is someone who has a learning impulse and is looking for participants for this experience. The participants work together to find a way to solve the task they have set themselves. Everyone contributes their individual experience and knowledge. Do you have an idea for an exciting group learning experience? Bring along your question or your learning wish and take others on a journey in your participatory studio.

Testing

Advantages of participating and offering studios

In the studio, you can try out new methods in a protected environment. The learners in this group are very close to each other. This creates a safe space for your experiments. In Freinet pedagogy, we call the testing and development of methods Trying the keys.

You will experience yourself as a learner and gain a change of perspective. Your understanding of the learners in your professional environment becomes self-awareness for you.

Offering a workshop strengthens your self-confidence and pedagogical competence. As an expert in the workshop, you will also be consulted by other teachers. This gives you the confidence to be an expert in your working environment. For participants in the Atelier, learning from person to person is much more effective and sustainable. You gain the courage and joy of trying out something similar yourself. The positive learning experience in the studio gives you strength for everyday life. The joy of learning together lasts long after the studio.

Find out about the expertise of our speakers

The online ateliers are offered by members of our association. Among the providers you will find Freinet teachers from our various fields of work: from early childhood education to school education and adult education.

Here you can take advantage of various offers: e.g. on democracy education, the international Freinet movement or various methods, such as printing or theater games. Experienced speakers from our further training and the Freinet further education also offer workshops.

The online studios are free of charge.
We look forward to seeing you – whether you are a member or (still) a non-member of our association.

The Freinet pedagogy workshops have tidied out my pedagogical cupboard. Some things were already in there, new things were added. In any case, the attitudes have been given a name and a place in my work. They are always ready to hand.

Then get in touch with the office to find a suitable date and have your offer entered in the calendar of events.

Would you like to offer something and are looking for other participants?
Our “We after 4 rounds” intended. They open up the space for short, low-threshold offers that take place on a date of your choice.
